• About Judge Megan Goldish

    Judge Megan Goldish has practiced law for over 20 years, and has spent the last six years as a judge in the high-volume Domestic Violence Court of the Circuit Court of Cook County, presiding over a range of criminal and civil cases. Judge Megan Goldish also acted as a supervising attorney with the WINGS program, which provides safe housing and other resources for victims of domestic violence. In recognition of her support of women in the legal profession, she received the 2020 Mary Heftel Hooten Award from the Women’s Bar Association and was named 2019-2020 Woman of the Year by the Shomrim Society of Illinois.

    A graduate of Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, Judge Goldish earned a law degree with honors while serving on the executive board of the Journal of International Law and Business. Actively involved in various community organizations, she currently serves as president of the junior board of the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind. She also supports the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, the Abolition Institute, and Bright Star Community Outreach.
